Individual Sessions are conducted with you and me. This therapeutic relationship helps to promote change by creating a safe, trusting, non-judgmental, and nurturing environment in which to explore your concerns, identify your primary challenges, and create solutions. Individual sessions can focus on a variety of topics, including recovery from addictions, managing stress, addressing grief and loss, attending to depression, enhancing your sense of self-mastery, realizing your personal power, improving self-esteem, building self-trust, and relieving anxiety. I utilize an eclectic approach to helping my clients heal and realize their ability to live the life they desire, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Focusing, visualization and relaxation techniques. By combining these experiential practices with traditional talk therapy, great strides are made in individual sessions.
